Important Voting Information and Deadlines

Registration

If you have previously voted in federal or state elections, and your residence is within the Novi School District, you are registered to vote. If you have questions about where to vote on November 4th, click on the following web link to the City of Novi’s precincts and polling stations.

If you need to register to vote, you must do so by October 6, 2008. You may register at City Hall in Novi (City Clerk’s office) or at any Secretary of State office.

Absentee Ballots

If you are not able to vote in person on November 4th, you must submit an application for an absent voter ballot the City Clerk’s office for an absentee ballot on or before 2pm, Saturday May 5. The ballots will be mailed to you and must be received by the City Clerk by mail or in person before 8pm on Tuesday, November 4th.
